"WE LOVED YOU SO MUCH THAT WE WERE DELIGHTED TO SHARE WITH YOU NOT ONLY THE GOSPEL OF GOD BUT OUR LIVES AS WELL, BECAUSE YOU HAD BECOME SO DEAR TO US." (1Thess. 2:8) The women's ministry at Fellowship seeks to determine the needs of women in the church and community and develop the means for meeting their individual needs in accordance with the mission statement of Fellowship Church . "Jesus replied, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Matt.22:37-39 NIV) It is our desire to make this commandment come to life in women's lives by helping them place God as their 1st priority everyday with their families and serving others a close second. "Each one should use whatever gift he has to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." (1Pet 4:10 NIV) We want to teach women to seek a balanced spiritual diet and a healthy program of exercising her gifts and talents. It is our mission to help each woman grow through developing a spiritual life, deepening relationships, and by sharing her faith and experiences by ministering to others. In short, we encourage them to take what they are being taught, apply it to their lives, and reach out to other women in need of God's saving grace. Come join women of all ages on the 2nd Monday each month for discipleship, fellowship, and fun! |
